Application premature

Hon. Lucien Lamoureux

Hon. Lucien Lamoureux

Speaker of the House

Ruling Text

Although this is a matter of urgent importance and national interest the motion should not be accepted at this stage because the parties to the conflict intend to hold important consultations and it would be wiser to wait until the results of these meetings are known. Debate now would be premature, but the Member has the right to make his motion tomorrow or at a later date.
